| 0:15.8 | I came across Daisy's YouTube channel. This must have been almost a year ago, but have been following her story and her journey for a while now, and she always struck me as being somebody who's just very just authentic and clear. |
| 0:29.9 | And humble and has a really interesting story. So I reached out and invited her on. And she said, yes, so you're going to get to know Daisy. And it was a very interesting conversation. We talk a lot about stuff related to her story. So I think you'll enjoy it. |

| 1:22.4 | Hello, friends. I'm here with a new friend, a friend as of the last two minutes. Daisy Chadra. Daisy has a YouTube channel and a few of your videos have absolutely blown up. And so they've gotten a lot of attention and naturally came across them. |
| 1:51.4 | And I just, I just loved your honesty and just your humility and authenticity. I'm like, man, I would love to have a conversation with Daisy. So thank you so much for coming on the All-Generade, Daisy. |
| 2:03.4 | Of course. Thank you for having me. |
| 2:05.4 | Why don't we start just for our audience that doesn't have a clue who you are. Maybe just share a bit about your story. And yeah, I would love to, especially, you know, get into your transition and de-transition. |
| 2:17.4 | And really, how you're processing that now and it wasn't that, you know, longer going all this, what's happening. |
| 2:25.4 | Yeah. So I've been making YouTube videos for several years now. And I made videos as a trans man, sort of talking from a trans perspective and also kind of documenting my transition. |
| 2:43.4 | And, you know, I was kind of in like that niche of YouTube, which was like, you know, in 2015, 16, 17 was like, you know, pretty big, but I was a very, very small name. |
| 2:56.4 | I had a very small following and still still do. And in 2020, may of 2020, but also kind of started before that I came to regret my transition. |
| 3:12.4 | And realized that I needed to actually take action and de-transition. And so, you know, that brought like that kind of made the whole YouTube thing sort of a problem because it's like, well, I considered just like shutting down my channel or I could, you know, come out and then not talk about it or I could come out and talk about it. |
| 3:36.4 | Ultimately, I decided to come out and talk about it. And lately, my videos have focused more on, you know, not only my own personal de-transition experience, but also just kind of like going through the change in my perspective of like, you know, what, like what does it mean to be transgender? |
| 4:01.4 | I've been asking myself that question for a long time. It's not as simple as a lot of people might, you know, think that it is on the surface and like just like the social implications of the fact there are a lot of a lot of detransitioners coming out. |
| 4:17.4 | And so now I'm focusing more on that issue. And yeah, other than that, I live with my fiance in a little suburb by Chicago and work as a barista. |
| 4:32.4 | Oh, nice. I just got an espresso machine. So I'm trying to figure out how to make a good shot. It's a lot more complicated than you would think from a distance, yeah? |
| 4:42.4 | Yeah, yeah. Hi, I haven't espresso machine too. And I still haven't gotten it like perfect. It's still coming out kind of sour, but yeah. |
