but a one-two for good measure. But even that was not without controversy, as Damon Hill

pulled rank over Ralph Schumacher, resulting in Big Brother Michael, paying Eddie Jordan a visit, which

wasn't to say congratulations. The 1998 Belgian Grand Prix had a bit of everything except any

dry running, so it's not a surprise. This has been one of the most requested episode topics

by our Bring Back V10's audience. And today, we're finally getting stuck in to the chaos of SPAR 98.

To help me, Glenn Freeman, do that. We have self-confessed Damon Hill fan Ben Anderson and someone

who was there in the thick of it at Spa that day and knows a thing or two about what it's like

to work at Jordan, former F1 Pitt reporter Louise Goodman.

We always start these episodes with the same opening question, so I'll throw it to you first.

When you think of the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix, what's the first thing that comes to mind?

First thing that comes to mind is my interview with Eddie Jordan

afterwards because when I left Jordan, where I'd been there, press officer for the previous

five years, to go and work for ITV, Eddie and I said, well, I said to Eddie, when you get that first

win, because we'd never had a win when I was there. I was an expert in writing press releases

about, you know, the almost races.
