1:32.4	Well you know I was basically a graduate student, undergraduate and graduate student all
1:37.9	the way up through a PhD which I completed at the University of Hawaii and I wanted to
1:46.4	do it, I wanted to study the psychology of travel because I had been bitten by the travel
1:52.7	bug and I was fascinated by the idea of travel and I'm surprised that nobody was really
2:02.3	in the social sciences that I could tell was really concentrating on that subject and
2:07.0	it's so important because our safety and security and well-being depends on good relationships
2:17.5	with people all over the world and travel is probably the most significant means of communicating
2:27.6	with people around the world, of course now we can do a lot of that electronically.
2:33.9	So I wanted to study the psychology of travel and I decided what's the best way to do that
2:40.1	and then I came to the conclusion, ask people.
