Would you ever text, if you knew you were going to lose your marriage, end in divorce, be living in an apartment by yourself, away from kids and family, would you text that coworker wants?

You see? And I think that's a great way to look at it is we never think in the moment the ramifications of our sin and the effects of it, but we have to look at the end result of it.

In recovery, we always say play the tape to the end.

So you want to have a drink, or use the infidelity.

You want to say you're going to cheat on your wife.

Well, at some point, you got to go back home.

Who? Yeah.

At some point, you got to look your children in the eyes.

Yeah.

At some point you're going to lay in the same bed with your spouse.

If you play the tape all the way to the end, you'll find out sin doesn't end the way you wanted to.
