Welcome back to another episode of Mother Massie with podcast. I'm joined again by my dear

friend Jen Nice. And today we're talking about the lifetime movie, Pool Boy Nightmare.

It's a 2020 joint. Jen watched a bunch of movies with her sister before she selected

this one. I loved this movie. Did you? Okay, so I liked it better the second time because I had

tried to make it through like psycho yoga instructor and I'm like, Pool Boy Nightmare. It's not that

big of a nightmare, you know? Well, yeah, it's, um, it's not like, I don't love it like, oh my god,

this is like a great lifetime movie. It's not even on the list of like, oh, this is like genuinely

so campy. It's ridiculous. Right. Um, it's just like very watchable. This feels like a good

vacation watch. It's like so dumb that like if you and a friend were stuck like watching this

several times over a weekend because like lifetime is the only station the hotel had besides news.

Like you would start to love it, I think. Yeah, I would change hotels if I couldn't watch

lawn order. That's like the only time I watch lawn order anymore as a no tells. Um, but yeah, this

so we were talking quite a bit about this the other day. Um, the director of this movie Ralph

Kineski really took you off guard because he has sort of a history of doing horror movies and then

like kind of like bimbo movies. Like he did blonde and blonder with Denise Richards and Pam Anderson.

He did these, um, and manual through time movie. The Emmanuel movies. I was like, oh, okay. Yeah.

Every time I like look at a lifetime director, it's usually they have like a bunch of lifetime,

but this guy's coming from straight like, you know, skin a max universe. So yeah, is this soft,

is this soft core porn? Yeah, like the Emmanuel, like the original Emmanuel is like this French

porn, um, thing that was like big in the 70s. It was like kind of like one of those ones that was

like acceptable porn. Like you remember how like deep throat for some reason it was like mainstream.

I don't remember like we were alive then, but like, you know, you know, that like phenomenon.
