Here on Pines for Jack, we're reading our way through the works of C.S. Lewis.

This month, we're snooping through Jack's bookshelf,

looking at the authors and books which shaped the life and writing of C.S. Lewis. Today's opening

quotation about seeking and finding came from Edmund Spencer's The Fairy Queen. And we're

glad you sought us out today, and we're very glad that we found today's expert, Father Stephen Gregg.

Father Stephen Gregg was born in Texas and entered the Cistercian Order of Our Lady of Dallas in 2006

and made his solemn profession on July 3, 2011.

On September 8th, 2012, he was ordained to the priesthood.

He has taught English, fine arts, Latin and theology at the Cistercian Boy School,

and he is now affiliate assistant professor of English at the University of Dallas,

where he completed his doctorate in 2022.
