I'm Gabe. I'm Tasha. We are on... I'm the king of New York. Okay. We're on season seven, episode 12, infected. Okay. So the opening scene, you can see a woman and a dude are kind of like flirting after, we're assuming after they had sex.

Oh, wait a second. Wait a second. We're in 2006. Happy New Year, everybody. Oh my God. Yeah. Holy shit. Anyway. Okay. Two people done boning. But the point of view is from a kid hiding in a closet. The lady tells the guy to leave. she's like, it's time to go.

He's like, I don't want to. Let's go back to that.

And it starts to escalate.

She's like, it's time to go. And he's like, I don't want to. Let's go back to that. And it starts to escalate. She's like, seriously, get the fuck out of my house. Yeah, it escalated really fast. Really quick. And she tells this guy, she's like, this is the last time we're going to meet up. Guys, like, it's not up to you and starts throwing shit at her. It goes back to this like kid's eyeball looking through the closet.

Yeah. He says, who do you think you are, bitch? You're nothing without me, whore. She says, I'm that bitch that's going to tell everyone what you did. And then I was like, oh, my God, what did he do before? He pulls out of fucking gun and he shoots her. He shoots her once and then another bullet goes to the closet door.

And then the door shuts because her body slumps down on it. Later, Benny and Stabes are on the scene with the responders. One of the cops tells them that the call came from a neighbor that heard a knock down, drag out fight the night before. When the neighbor went upstairs to complain about the noise, the door to the apartment was unlocked.

And so they went in, which is kind of weird. I don't think so. I would have. The door was unlocked. You just were like. If I knew the person, if I heard a big fight and I knew there was a woman who lived there with her son, I'd be like, I'm just going to. I probably would. Not if I heard a gunshot. I mean, but he heard this fight the night before, went back to bed and then came up. Yeah. Oh, well, then, I don't know. I don't know. It was kind of weird to be like, hey, I didn't like that last night. Like, if the door was on, I don't know. You know what I was just popping in to let you know that you kept me awake with your domestic violence. Maybe if the door was like open a little bit, who knows? Anyways, the victim is Monica Phelps. She was found shot dead and her bodies propped up against the closet. The M.E. and ambulance are on the way. The apartment phone rings and an officer gets it. It's the middle school. Monica's son, Nathan, didn't show up and they're trying to figure out why.

The cops like, we'll be searched the entire apartment, but not the closet because we didn't want to move the body yet.

Benny and Staler move Monica's body to find Nathan down on a bloodstained pillow in the closet. He's not hurt.

He asked if his mom is dead and Benson's like, I'm sorry, she is.

And they get him out of the closet and Stavler covers Nathan's head with a jacket or something and he's like, don't look at your mom.

It's really sad.

And this guy's such a good little actor and I didn't remember this episode, even the tiniest bit.

He is a really great actor.

This is Walt from Lost. He was the only kid main character who was on the island with his dad, if you remember the show at all. I started reading about him on that show on Lost because he was so good. And he was supposed to be on for more than two seasons. But he had this IRL growth spurt and they decided he couldn't play a believable 10 year old anymore.

Like he was going to come on to into the group of folks on the island and be like, hello,
