Hello and welcome to Series 7 episode 8 of Out with Susie Ruffle.

Hello, I hope that whenever you're listening to this you are having a good day.

I am currently sat in a hotel room in Liverpool. I was here last night for my tour, which was such fun, such joy.

Oh, I loved it so much at the Liverpoolable Every Man, which is an absolutely gorgeous theatre.

If you live nearby, go and support it.

It's got great stuff on, just brilliant.

And it was run by absolutely lovely people.

So I had a blast there.

I was with my friend Jenny Bede,

who's been opening some of the shows.

She's now left to go home.

And I'm going on to Lufbra for another tour show tonight.

So I've got a day of writing and reading,

which would be very nice.

I mean, I'll miss my family.

I'll miss Alice and the baby.

And if I'm being on tour quite hard, I'm honest but I try and sort of focus on

getting things done so that when I'm there I'm really there. I'm going to know if

that's too much information. I don't think so. I feel like we know each other right?

I mean you guys definitely know me. But that's where I'm out of the moment I'm touring around and trying to juggle

lots of things but it's enormous fun and I've met so many of you at tour shows and it really is just

unbelievably heartening to hear what this podcast means to you.
