I don't say my pronouns for fun or to be politically correct.

Or because I think it makes me sound smart

or to confuse you or to get on your nerves or anything of the like.

You see, stating your own pronouns and normalizing a space where pronouns are discussed and

affirmed is all a part of creating safe and affirming spaces for our trans and

non-binary family which leads me to the topic of today's very special episode

of Inner Hole uprising. So let's hit you with a little bit of backstory here. So if you don't know,

Inner Hole Uprising is comprised of four folks in addition to myself. We got a Kua, a

mental health professional, and a bad bitch whose pronouns are she and her.

We got Rodeka, aka a biohacking gamer and kind soul whose pronouns are also she and her.

And we got Rob, our resident firefighter and science nerd, and Brogg ass motherfucker, whose pronouns are they and

them.

Rob is also an agender non-binary person, and if you don't know what that means maybe you should keep listening.

Recently Rob was a guest on a fellow New York City base self-described educational

sex podcast. The name of that show is horribleisions. You might have heard me mention Rob's appearance on last week's episode of our podcast.

Throughout the course of the episode, it became pretty clear that the show's hosts were unfamiliar with gender non-binary identities, as lots of folks are.

That ignorance led to them frequently misgendering our co-host.

And using she and her pronouns to refer to someone who has they and them pronouns.
