We reflect on a bonkers buildup to double game week 24, how that's affected our chip

strategy going forwards and Jules and Sam have a sort of heated argument about Brentford.

Hello, it's Thursday the 6th of February.

It's an FA Cup weekend ahead of us, but what a week it has been since we were last with you on the FPL pod, Julianne, Sam Bonfield and myself Kelly Summer's back with you. And it feels like a week ago when we sat here planning for the excitement of double game week 24, 24 hours later Sam, everything was kind of ripped up, not ripped up, but just turned

on its head. It completely ripped up in my bit because, you know, I sat here last week and said,

oh, I'm not going to play any chips and I'm really worried about it. And then, oh, not 24 hours later

had a chip active and feels very different now, doesn't it? But good week so far. But yeah,

it has thrown my chip

strategy into complete disarray. Okay, so myself and Sam ended up playing our assistant manager,

but on different managers. Sam went for David Moyes. I went for Arna's slot. Jules, for the

first time ever on this podcast, I can say you did exactly what you said you were going to do last week.

You went through with it.

But that wasn't necessarily through choice.

Don't really. No, because as I said, I wanted to play the triple captain chip on Morsala,

which I activated very early on in the week, which is unlike me. But I thought, imagine if I forget again or something like that. So I played it. Then I didn't even know there

had been an announcement.

It's only when we put in our WhatsApp group that something happened.

I was like, what happened?

I didn't even know.

So you and Sam explained it.

I was like, damn, I played the triple captain.
