Years ago, I reached out to John A. Cough because his book Do Over actually encouraged and somewhat

0:09.5

inspired me to make a big change in my career. It was a great reminder that your right now

0:18.2

doesn't have to be your forever and you can start over, you can do over whenever you like. It's

0:24.7

truly something that changed my life. And I reached out to him to tell him thank you for that. Turns

0:30.4

out he used to live in Atlanta. He listened to me on the radio when he was here and from that

0:36.4

exchange we became friends. So a year or two ago we were catching up and he told me about his latest

0:42.5

book idea, a book all about overthinking and how to overcome overthinking and I'm like, oh my gosh,

1:30.5

John A. Cough is going to have a little nugget of information, three questions that you should ask

1:34.8

yourself that I think is going to change some people's lives. It's really incredible. So enjoy this

1:41.6

conversation with John A. Cough. My friend John A. Cough, I'm so appreciative of him, of him for

1:48.4

coming on the podcast and talking about his brand new book Soundtracks.

2:01.6

The upside means living in gratitude, finding the positive in every experience,

2:06.9

and helping other people do the same. You are now part of the movement. Welcome to a bonus episode

2:13.1

of the upside with Kali and Jeff. Remember you and I met, I think it is Starbucks,

2:19.2

right? As you were embarking on the journey of this Soundtracks book, I don't even think you

2:24.3

had a name for it, right? You just, at that time you just told me that you were going to do
