And like I just said, I am Derek Hayes, and this is Monsters Among Us podcast.

Now for those that are new, essentially every week I play eyewitness testimony.

Recordings made by the eyewitnesses themselves.

I can't stress enough that these are not interviews.

These calls are submitted via a toll-free hotline, the number to which I will reveal at the end of the program.

Now the monster hotline, as I like to call it, is now busier than ever.

Some days I receive as many as a dozen submissions.

As it turns out, many of you have seen crazy things, just like I have.

But the hotline wasn't always this productive.

At one point early on, I had to think back to friends that told me crazy paranormal stories, then reach out to them, beg them, to share those stories with strangers.

Luckily, a few did, and the show grew into what it is today.

But after nearly three and a half years, seven seasons, and well over, 150 episodes,

the call or calls that I get asked about the most stem from one of those familiar submissions.

I was in my third episode and my 100 listeners.

Didn't have any stories to share.
