then out of nowhere, Jankalo Fisie Keller gave the team its first pole position and arguably should have won the race.

In the end, that honour went to Kimmy Reichen and with a bit of help from his Ferrari's curs,

while down the order, Jensen Button's title challenge appeared to be crumbling,

just as his brawn team's future was being secretly secured behind the scenes with Mercedes.

Talking of secrets, it's often forgotten that this

was the weekend when the wheels were put in motion to bust Renault for the 2008 Singapore

Grand Prix scandal involving Nelson PKK. And while we'd need a whole episode to go into that

topic properly, we will touch on it at the end here. As those of you who know your F1 engines,

When you think back to Spile 2009, what's the first thing that comes to mind?

Well, it has to be that almost nearly won the race effort from Fisichella in the Force India,

his day of days, I guess, completely out of the blue for me as someone at that time

who was reporting on British Formula 3 for autosport, so some years away yet from being inside

the F1 paddock. Yeah, I was startled. But for the Kerr, as you mentioned on the Ferrari and
