You guys I am so excited about this conversation and I want to tell you why. I know y'all are used to seeing Chris you know preaching up a storm on a stage, but specifically in this

moment I invited her to sit down and have a conversation and here's why. Because yes,

she is one of the greatest communicators in our time on a stage, but she has also been one of the best

disciple makers in my life personally as a leader. And right now that's what we need.

We need some big sisters and some mamas in our lives that are going to say, hey,

here's how we weather the storm.

Here's not just how we weather it,

here's how the church grows and goes forward.

For the last few hours, we've been sitting over a meal together

and we've been talking about just that.

In fact, that's what we talk about almost every time we're on the phone together,

is how does the church grow, how does the kingdom grow in our generation, how do we steward

what God's given us as well as we can so that the gospel can go out as far as it can.

And guys, your conversations don't need to look any different than ours.

Yes, we run organizations. Yes, we write books. Yes, we speak to a lot of people, but in your places, this is how the kingdom grows.

We believe we do what we do so that you're equipped to do the real work of the kingdom.

That's what the scripture says.

It says that the people that get paid to do ministry

are the people that are sent to equip the saints
