Andrew's still out. He is. He is. absence. I think he's got maybe a couple weeks that he'll be out. But pastor last week, we left him hanging. Yeah. So where are we at in Luke four? Yeah, we're back in Luke four again hanging on every word of Jesus, which is not gonna be many words to hang on.

Jesus doesn't have to stay a lot to be profound, right?

We're gonna learn that.

So just for context, Vivian, let's go back to Luke chapter four

and let's read from the beginning one more time, just review,

and then you're gonna hear what's happening here.

Verse 16. Verse 16 verse 16 yeah Luke 4 16

he came to Nazareth where he had been brought up as usual he entered the synagogue on the

Sabbath day and stood up to read the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him and unrolling

the scroll he found the place where it was written the spirit of the lord is on me

because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor he has sent me to proclaim release to the

captives and recovery of sight to the blind to set free the oppressed to proclaim the year of the lord's favor

he then rolled up the scroll gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. And the eyes of

everyone in the synagogue were fixed on him. Okay, let's stop right there. We're going to leave them

hanging. Okay, the mood is tense at this point. Okay, just to back up for just recap, Jesus and

his disciples, they come in that day, they're riding high. I mean, they're excited. Their rabbi's going to speak. Jesus says take the chiefs, the cheap seats, not the chief seats. The cheaper seats on the floor. And they take the seats. And so Jesus is waiting with a, he's already gone through the mikfa. He's waiting for his moment. He's going to read along with five, six, seven other people at time.

Could be up to eight.

And he listens for the first one is the Parachar, which is the reading of the Torah.
