This is Pints for Jack, Season 6, Episode 31, out of the silent planet, retrospective.

Welcome, everyone. Here on Pints for Jack, we're reading our way to the works of C.S. Lewis.

I'm David, and I'm joined by my co-host, Matt, and Father Andrew. And this season, we have found ourselves among the stars,

reading through the first of C.S. Lewis's science fiction trilogy,

out of the silent planet.

But we are now back on Earth and at the end of the book.

So today we're having a retrospective,

looking back on the book as a whole.

We might go a little longer today, but I'm not sure.

But either way, I'm planning on limiting my baitsy and rigidity just a little bit.

Gentlemen, how are you doing today?

Well, better now that there's no baiting or less baitian rigidity.

No.

I said slightly less.

Yes.

Okay. Yes. Well, I just watched nefarious it's challenged me I want to

watch it multiple times I would highly recommend it it I didn't know what to expect I was just told

it's like a slightly ins not inspired by per se but slightly similar screw tape letters, a demon talking and you kind of hear about how they operate and think.

But what I really liked was it really seemed to create an argument, because I've always wondered, like, why would the demons do what they do?

Or Satan's not be compelled by God or truly turn away and do what he did, knowing that God is real?
