but it didn't quite land did it? It didn't quite land but I I loved it and it was a big influence on me I think as a guitar player I particularly

love Slaughter on 10th Avenue the sound of his guitar the sound of his guitar I just thought

was so exquisite so vocal and and I just wanted to mention because I had that most amazing experience

You know because he was one of the big influences in my life as a guitar player.

That I went and found that guitar, you know, years later.

I did a documentary and I think it was for Sky Arts and it was about Mick Ronson and part of the journey as you say on TV

it was to go and find this guitar and it's a bit of a disappointment when you see it to be honest now

because I remember that guitar looking so sort of strange it was a

blonde front but it was basically raw wood at the front it was a it was a Lespool

custom black that had been stripped it hadn't stripped it and then it had all got smashed up but you know one

he dropped it when he was playing with the inner hunter broke the neck off it was all

strapped and he ended up in the back of milk mid-uea's wardrobe. What? Yes.
