Let's have some fun. All right. The opening scene, Benny and Stabes are in a woman's apartment.

Her name is Jamie Callahan, and she's telling Benny and Stabes that her husband has changed recently.

He used to be super sweet and loving. Last night he was ranting

about their elderly neighbors. He thinks they're spying on them. And she's like, they're like 80.

They don't care what's going on. Her and her husband fought and he started hitting her. And it

sounds like this has been happening more recent. He ripped off her clothes and says he's going to get

his gun if she doesn't do what he said.

And she's like, that was a new thing. This is actor Amy Landdecker. This is her second appearance on

SVU. And we did her credits last time. She's been in Transparent, Sneaky Pete, bombshell,

Handmaid's Tale, very recognizable person. She doesn't know why he's doing this, but it's got to stop because there's a baby on the way. Benson asks her where her husband hits her because her face isn't messed up or anything. And she gets upset. She's like, oh, he's a fucking cop and knows how to hit without leaving a mark. What are you fucking saying? And Benson's like, oh, no, that's not what I meant. And she's like, you guys don't take me seriously. You're all going to cover for my husband because he's a cop. That's what you guys do. Benson tells her that all victims are asked the same questions, but she's like, get out. Stabler tells her that she needs to give them the chance to help her. She says, I tried. I told my husband's little partner that he'd been hitting me and she didn't do anything.
