I'm really good, really good, fortunately.

And I'm told we have an exciting guest. Could you make the proper introduction?

We do. I will do the introduction. So I guess tonight is a best-selling author and nurse,

whose book The Nurse's Story, revealed the heart as well as the

shocking experiences of nurses that they face behind closed hospital doors. She is the author

and co-author of over eight books, including her newest, a tale of love, power, and writing,

about a relationship that spanned over 20 years with a man who has directly and indirectly

influenced the careers of all of us here.

The book is called Me and Mario, and that man was Mario Puzzo, author of The Godfather.

I first heard from our guest when she invited us to join a virtual celebration for Mario's

100th birthday on October 15th, and she was kind enough to agree to join us here tonight.
