Affection produces happiness if and only if there is common sense and give and take and decency.

In other words, only if something more and other than affection is added.

If we try to live by affection alone, affection will go bad on us.

But before we dive into this wonderful chapter, gentlemen, it's been over a week since we've chatted.

How have you lovely ladies been?

Well, my lovely lady is doing fine. I'm not nearly so lovely and, you know, the rest of that.

But doing well back in Florida, flew back in over the weekend. And so now back here for the

holiday and finishing up final exams. So lots of projects. The wonderful part I was chatting with

Brittany White today, I got to use Diana Glyer's

Bandersnatch as a role model for collaboration in parish administration.

So I got to write about her book for most of my final.

So just killing things off and turning to Northwind studies and plowing forward. How about you, Matt?

I would never ever dream of selecting or determining which were favorite interviews that I have

done because, you know, that just wouldn't be right. But I loved Diana Glyer's interview.

She's amazing. And the best thing to see with her

is when she teaches. She is a born teacher. And it's just, it's like, it's like seeing Shakespeare

in the globe. But no, in terms of, you know, how I've been, I'm still out here in Arizona.
