Well, good morning, everyone.

Pints with Jack is your weekly CS-Lewis podcast where three friends, Andrew, David, and Matt, break down and discuss the works of C.S. Lewis.

This season, we're talking about love, slowly, deliberately working our way through the four loves by C.S. Lewis.

The book he writes about affection, friendship,

romance, and charity. So, friends, how is your Thanksgiving? I'm still recovering.

I had to, I had to pick myself up off the bed from my food comatose just to be able to record this.

But I'm happy to report that I'm four pounds heavier.

And no, and you know what, I only have to buy half as many Christmas gifts this year because

I made sure we brought up to political conversations. And so I am also wealthier. So this is,

it was a fantastic Thanksgiving. Always a money saver. I, I want to say it was someone in the Slack channel that

put that quote up or something. It was a wonderful inspiration. Somehow I saw it through somewhere.

And I was like, that's a brilliant idea. Yeah, that's great. How about you, David?

Well, we had lots of family for Thanksgiving this year. We had my sister-in-law visiting from the University of Dallas.

And I also had my parents-in-law staying here over the course of Thanksgiving so that all of the family could be geographically close to one another.

And I also found out that another of my brothers-in-law will be moving to Wisconsin before the end of the year.

Wow. Wow. So you're filling it all up.

Yeah, exactly. Did someone just decide to be the first one and it just took root and everyone goes,

you know what? We will slowly follow suit and the domino's foul down and now you're all there.
