switching the arrangements made for the week in custody. She's just single-momming and she's making

breakfast and she's just kind of hustling around trying to get

everybody going for the day. She tells her son Eric to go wake up her other son Adam and he's like,

I wanted to go with dad. She's like, can't get grandma's birthday. Go get your brother. Whatever.

Yeah. That's exactly the conversation. He's like, mom, come here. Adam's gone. The window into the fire escape is open and the window screen is on the floor. So now we have the officers and SVU at the crime scene. Stabler's talking to mom. She reminded me of somebody. She kind of reminded me of Parker Posey. Me too. I can figure out who she was, though. Yeah. Stabler talks to mom. She says she tucked Adam in at 8.30 and checked on him at 11. The window was cracked to cool the room off. It's like New York City, you can't do that. Get a fan. I don't know. Mom thinks her ex-husband Peter took Adam because he's not happy with the custody agreement. She hands Stabler a photo of this dude, Peter.

Now outside of the apartment, Cragon is talking to the press about Adam's disappearance as the cops pass out flyers with Adam's information on him. Craigon announces that an Amber Alert was issued and SVU is checking on all of the tips that are coming in and unless they hear any new shit, there will be another briefing in two hours. Kragan spins on his heel right into a walk-and-talk with Benny and Stabes. They hit Dietz. The only person with keys to the house is the cleaning lady.
