Andrew, David and Matt break down and discuss the works of CS Lewis. This season we read The Four

Loves and we're now in the middle of apologetics month, talking about Lewis's favourite apologetic

arguments to defend the existence of God and the Lordship of Christ. And today we're talking

with Joseph Heschmeier.

Joe Heschmeier is a blogger at shamelesspupri.com, and I first met Joe in person in 2011,

while he was still a practicing attorney in Washington, D.C., after reading his blog for several years.

And following that, he spent some time as a seminarian in Rome and later worked as

an instructor at Holy Family School of Faith in Kansas City. But he is now an author and a staff

apologist for Catholic Answers. Joe Heschmire, welcome to Pites with Jack. Thanks for having me on.

This is really nice. We're actually recording this well in advance of Apologetics Month. My wife and I are in San Diego for a wedding. And so we had dinner with Joe, his wife and children. And he said, well, while you in town, let's knock it out. Exactly. It's a good timing. We were both visiting San Diego at the same time.

The stars aligned. And today I am drinking Coca- cola because i have just had mexican food for lunch
