It's January 2025 and welcome back to my ongoing spotlight on Harvest Ministries International.

I'm Tara Jean.

Quick recap.

Today, Harvest is a network of Christian nonprofits based in Colonna, British Columbia, but it began as Kidamatt Harvest Church in the early 2000s.

Again, this episode will include a firsthand story from a former Kidamatt Harvester,

but even though her story includes talk of grooming and sexual abuse in her life.

They are not allegations against anyone at the harvest now or in the past.

As well, this episode will also include a brief mention of Stacey Campbell.

She's a Kelowna-based prophetess, but she's been a friend of the harvest since its earliest days up north in Kidamatt.

To date, no one at the harvest has agreed to be involved with this season.

I wish they were, so I'll keep trying.

You know, one of the biggest memories I have of being in the hardest church,

Stacey Campbell was here for a conference,

but I was like a reckless teenager, and I didn't know my left foot from my right foot.

But I went and I sat beside Stacey Campbell.

I remember it so clearly. And I asked her, do you see me? Do you see me? And she sounded a little annoyed, but she said yes. And I understand

why I was asking her to see me.

Because nobody was seeing me back then.
