Good morning, everyone. Pints with Jack is your weekly C.S. Lewis podcast where three friends,

Andrew, David and Matt, break down and discuss the works of C.S. Lewis. This season, we're talking

about love, slowly and deliberately working our way through the four loves, the book where Lewis

writes about affection, friendship, romance and charity.

This month, we finished the chapter on Christian charity, and so it's time for another episode.

Back when we finished the chapter on family affection, I interviewed my mother,

and when we finished the chapter on friendship, Matt interviewed his best friend, and when we finished the chapter on friendship, Matt interviewed his best friend.

And when we finished the chapter on romance, Andrew interviewed his wife. But that sort of raised

question, who do you interview following a chapter about agape, Christian charity?

I chatted with my co-hosts and we agreed that it would probably be appropriate to interview someone

who has made a significant impact upon their respective spiritual journeys. And so first up,

we have Matt. Well, friends, welcome. I am particularly excited for this episode because it's another one where

we invite people who embody the different loves of the chapters in our lives. And this one was,
