Summary

In part one of Kari's story, we are introduced to David, a very charming man she met at work as a young single mom in college. He seemed too good to be true, and when the love bombing ensued, she fell hook, line, and sinker! After the wedding, things began to spiral when he became jealous, possessive, and eventually physically abusive - sending her prematurely to the ER to deliver their baby. But, when the police showed up at her door, it made her question, 'Who did I marry?'
