In the spirit of the universe keeping us humble, something happened that has never happened

before on this show. And I say, and I say in the spirit of keeping us humble because at this time,

yesterday we were talking about being on top of podcast magazines, Hot 50 chart,

for three consecutive months, being the number one podcast in the country for 90 consecutive days.

And then to knock us right off that mountain, we didn't get one phone call to our voicemail system.

The voicemails bring Jeff so much joy. And you like listening to them and editing them, right?

Like it's what you're... Yeah, I love hearing feedback from people who listen to our show and

people who have thoughts and stuff that we talk about. I love them. Jeff thought it was broken.

He's like, is this thing on? I did. I called and I left a message and then I refresh the computer

because I'm like, well, the message isn't going to show up because we've never before not had zero.

And we had zero. And my message showed up, which means it works. But we had zero messages.

You know what that's like? It's like, you're... You think... Remember? And I think this used to happen

more like back in the early 2000s when you were like waiting for someone to call you and you're like,

maybe my phone's not working. Right. And you pick up the phone to hear the dial tone?

Okay. So it's working. Maybe... Maybe like they called when I was in the bathroom and I just didn't hear it.

I used to pick up the phone to make sure you'd hear the dial tone and then hang it up really quickly

in case they tried to call. And you're like, well, maybe they called in the second that I... Yeah.

And it was some weird glitch. And so like it sounded like a hungri-ed up on them. Yeah.

So yeah, that's what I did. But yep, no phone calls. I did learn something though, after a year of

having the voicemail set up almost a year, when you call us, if you don't want to hear our big long

introduction, you can just hit the pound sign. Oh, there you go. And it goes right to the beep.

So you don't have to hear me saying, and we might use this on the upside.
