Summary

In 1903 Chicago, a peculiar murder unfolded on the city's south side. Despite her insistence that a burglar broke in and shot her husband in bed, authorities immediately suspected Jane Quinn, who was covered from head to toe in blood. And that was BEFORE they found out about the pile of dead bodies Jane left behind when she fled Michigan years earlier.

1:05.8	So today, friends, we're going to be talking about Michigan's very own Black Widow, Jane Quinn.
1:13.4	Well, that was one of her many, many names. If I were to use all of her names, we'd be calling
1:20.1	her Anne Jane, Jenny Taylor, MacDonald Thorpe, Quinn Campbell. Now it just confused us all. So we're going to call her Jane Quinn,
1:30.6	short and sweet, unlike Jane. Jane was born February 2, 1863 in Ontario, Canada, to Thomas and
1:40.4	Elizabeth Taylor. She was one of 15 children. I have no idea where in that lineup she fit in,
1:48.4	but when there are 15 of you, does that really matter anymore? In 1883, when Jane was 20,
1:56.5	she married fellow Canadian John McDonald, who was three years her senior.
2:03.1	The young couple moved to Michigan and settled in Port Huron, the maritime capital of the Great Lakes,
2:10.8	and the hometown of one Thomas Edison, who you may have heard of.
