If you've been around a while, you know one of my favorite things to do is dig up super

old true crime stories from local newspapers.

This is one that I found like a few years ago

while I was researching something else and it kind of had like an attention grabby headline.

So I put it on my list to do some more research on some day, see if there was enough there to do

a story on. I didn't research it at all at the time. I just kind of knew like the broad strokes of what happened,

not the when or the why or the was it ever solved. So this next part I'm going to tell you is

entirely coincidental or not, depending on where you land with your belief of the paranormal.

So my list of story ideas is like a mile long.

Like don't ever worry about me running out of content.

And again, this particular case has been on that list for a few years at least.

But as I was sitting around at my desk at the bookshop the other day,

trying to decide on a case for this week's episode, this one just kind of jumped out at me.
