You may know her as the author of Witchcraft Cocktails, 70 Seasonal Drinks, Fused with Magic and Ritual, or know her newest book, The Modern Witchcraft Book of Astrology, Your Complete Guide to Empowering Your Magic with the Energy of the Planets.

So welcome Julia to the show.

Would you like to tell the viewers a little bit about yourself and your background?

Yeah.

Yeah.

And thank you so much for having me and making time.

On the day that we're recording, it's actually the release date of the, yeah, the newest one,

the modern witchcraft book. So I'm'm really excited because you know i'm in

the middle of moving and stuff so it's nice to take like a pause and um celebrate the book coming out

but yeah for anyone um unfamiliar with me so i basically started off as you know um a little teenage witch

jumped into that much to the displeasure of my

family, as I'm sure for many of us. And, you know, deeply studied into that as working as a

professional witch and then became a bartender. And I very quickly saw the ways that these two

could be combined together, but also driving into the history of mixology, of cocktails and alcohol. It's deeply tied to spiritual practices. And so started a blog and that eventually became my first book, witchcraft cocktails. And then I also have my second one, moon magic mixology, which delves more into

lunar libations, you know, with the moon and water. And so the moon and different astrological

signs. And then that transferred over into the modern witchcraft book of astrology, which focuses

more on the astrological healing aspect of what I do.
