| 1:24.8 | And if that weren't enough, he starts taking items from inside the temple to give |
| 1:30.8 | to the Assyrian king to appease him. And as we're getting closer and closer to the end of the book |
| 1:38.1 | and Judah's exile, I want to call our minds back to First Kings 8 when Solomon consecrated the temple and prayed |
| 1:46.8 | that beautiful prayer about what this temple represented. |
| 1:50.0 | And look where we're at now. |
| 1:51.8 | We're selling these holy items just for what political power, right? |
| 1:58.4 | So it's kind of sad where we're headed. |
