0:47.4	First of all, she's a lover of travel, chocolate, comfy teas, converse, and her family. She has three
0:54.0	kids. She and her husband live in Florida.
0:56.9	Her son's NICU experience in 2019 led her to start praying through ministries. That's what's
1:03.9	called praying through ministries, which is a nonprofit that serves families around the world
1:09.1	as they navigate childhood illness, childhood
1:12.4	hospitalizations, or the loss of a child. Her writings have been featured in numerous places
1:18.3	like Proverbs 31 ministries, Tindale's So God Made a Mother, focus on the family's Clubhouse
1:24.8	Jr. Magazine, and then she and her co-author, Eric Shoemaker,
1:28.9	have just recently released a book called In His Hands, Prayers for Your Child or Baby in Medical
1:35.4	Crisis. After my conversation with Jessica and Eric, you guys, I did not ask them if they grew
1:43.4	up in a Christian family, which if you are a listener for any length of time, you know, that's one of my favorite questions to start with.
1:49.9	And when we stopped the recording, I just told Jessica, shoot, I forgot to ask you if you were raised in Christian family.
1:56.9	And then she started sharing her story.
1:59.3	And I thought, oh boy, we got to have this girl back on because you guys are going to love her story of how she came to Christianity and how God has just gently wooed her along the way.
