So I've invited Dan Tracharico as my guest today. He's a high school English teacher in California and the author of two books, the most recent being the Zen teacher, creating focus, simplicity, and tranquility in the classroom.

you can imagine with a book title like that,

I was sure Dan and I would have a ton of things in common

and I was so fortunate to get to spend time talking to him

at a conference last year in New Jersey

where we were both speaking.

So I just loved everything about Dan's energy from the moment that I met him and I think that

you'll find that his sincerity and his humility just shine through in everything that he says and does.

So for me, Dan is just the real deal.

He has so much wisdom to share with his fellow educators.
