Friends, welcome to Pints with Jack, your weekly CSis podcast, where typically David, Andrew, and I break down

and discuss the works of C.S. Louis. This season, we are eavesdropping on the correspondence

of a senior demon screw tape as he explains how to tempt the patient, a human assigned to be tempted

by screw tape's nephew, Wormwood. Each week will be considering a different letter,

untwisting screwtapes, hellish logic, and forming a battle plan for our own spiritual lives.

As you heard me say in the beginning, typically David, Andrew, and I, this is a different episode.

If you remember in Letter 1, when we had a guest host with David and Trent

Horn, we are doing that again. And so this week, I am joined with Brenton Dickinson, who there is a lot

of stuff here. So this makes me even more excited for this. He was just brilliant and not only a Lewis

just a passion for it. He's an adjunct instructor in literature at the King's College in New York

City, a sessional professor in the center for the study of Christianity and culture at the

University of Prince Edward Island, an instructor in spiritual theology at Regent College in Vancouver. He also does

freelance speaking and writing and is author of the popular faith fiction and fantasy blog,

a pilgrim in Narnia. And he lives with his wife, Carrie, and his son, Nicholas, in their native home

in Charlton, Prince Edward Islands. and he has recently completed his PhD at the

University of Chester, focusing his work on C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and the Inklings.
