Hey everyone, it's David here. We will begin today's episode very shortly, but I wanted to

begin with an apology, because in today's episode I'm going to be talking to Sister Natalia and

Father Michael, and I use the word dearth several times, and Sister Natalia said that she wanted to use it more in conversation.

But on listening back to the episode, I realized that I was using DIRTH incorrectly.

It's one of those words that people often get wrong and are afraid to say I used it completely

incorrectly in this episode. I thought that if there was

a dearth of something, it meant that there was plenty of something, there was an excess,

but it's actually the complete opposite. I'm looking at the dictionary definition here,

and it says, dearth, noun, a scarcity or lack of something.

So in light of that, I would now like to apologise.

I've let you down.

I've let Matt down.

I've let Andrew down.

I've let myself down.

But worst of all, I have let Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, down.

And I hereby resolve to be, in the future, a better ambassador for the English language.
