call my work mom. I've known Vivian, literally my whole life. She was my Sunday school teacher growing up. So Vivian, thank you for sitting in with us. Look what you've done with this guy. Exactly. Look how much sharper I've gotten under your leadership than Vivian's leadership. Okay. So before we get into. Vivian does connections at Long Island. That's right. That's right. She is... Yeah, we've learned about his attire, we've learned about his dress, we've learned about his message. His diet. His diet, we learned about the manner of baptism last week. Let's talk about the purpose of John

the Baptist. So Vivian, why don't you start us off just for context? We're going to read chapter

three of Matthew, if you're with us. We're going to read chapter three versus one. And I'll stop

you whenever we need to. Okay. In those days, John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying,

repent because the kingdom of heaven has come near, for he is the one spoken of truth of prophet

...
