But today, we begin a new book. Screw Tate Proposes a Toast.

This was first published in the Saturday Evening Post on December 19, 1959.

It has also appeared in a collection of essays The World's Last Night.

And we're going to be knocking it out over the course of four episodes this month.

And to help us unpack this book, we have a returning guest

so I love being on the show. Thank you. What have you been up to since you were last on the show?

Yeah, well, it's been a busy year. As a teacher, we're in this frenetic mode of 2020,

2020, 2021 and trying to do our best for our students. And that's a global challenge at this point.

And so there's part of that.

But a couple of cool things is I've been using screw tape letters actually in a weekly church study.

So I'm quite far behind Pineswick Jack as a show.

And I'm kind of glad I did my version kind of early in the show.

So I was able, so I didn't have to listen to my own version again,
