Welcome, everyone. Pints with Jack is your weekly CS Lewis podcast, where Matt, Andrew and I

break down and discuss the works of CS Lewis. This season we're eavesdropping on

the correspondence of a senior demon screw tape, as he explains how to tempt the patient, a human

assigned to be tempted by screwtate's nephew, Wormwood. Each week will be considering a different

letter, untwisting screwtap's hellish logic, and forming a battle plan for our own spiritual

lives. And this is my first episode with Matt since we had the virtual CS Lewis home tour.

And that's not even the best way to describe this episode.

This is the first episode since January that David and I have recorded.

It's March 22nd right now.

Dang.

Because it was pre-skiing my ski trip, which was Feb First, and I haven't recorded

me. I've actually only recorded once since then. It was with Andrew. But speaking of the

Kohn Tours, it was absolutely beautiful. It was such a blessing of able to do that. We hope we had

50, 55, 60 of our Patreon supporters on it. We did a Google meet afterwards.

So much fun.

I'm going to be terrible at planning these, but I'll probably throw out if there's

ever a weekend where I'm not doing anything, just like, hey, guys, whoever's around?

Because the conversation was so fulfilling.

Edifying is a better word to put.

And it was just wonderful.
