I am your host and the author of The Piece you're about to hear today. The Grey Knight,

you can call me Jack. I promise. I'm just fine with it. Just the quickest bit of housekeeping

before we get into the story today. I do get a little personal

at the end of the question segment. It's something that was on my mind, but I didn't really

expect to jump out at the end. And then it does. So there's some trigger warnings and there's

some philosophical stuff. And it tells you a lot about where I am and what I think about myself.

And I did want to give you that warning. The other thing I want to say is that, while I am indeed very grateful for all of you, I'm also seemingly incredibly cranky these days.

I've had a lot of progress with my anger issues, I think.

At least some days I feel that way.

And lately, it's just, I'm just angry a lot.

And I know a lot of you understand why,

especially the international fans have been really, really understanding.

And just thank you from the bottom of my heart. The truth of the matter is my sense of self, my ego is

pretty wounded right now. I had to fight pretty hard to get here. And I had to sacrifice a lot

to live up to my own ideals.

And with everything going on, it's just very hard.

So I'm trying very hard to be the creative and the person that I want to be.

I'm not always hitting 100% on that.
