Summary

A while back, we covered the tumultuous relationship between John McEnroe and Tatum O’Neal and learned something funny: TV legend and record shattering film director Penny Marshall and Hollywood royalty/Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher threw each other a birthday party every year. This week, we have the not-that-trashy divorces of lifelong best friends Penny Marshall and Carrie Fisher. Stacie has Penny, who was married twice, first to the father of her daughter, and next to fellow TV legend and later film director Rob Reiner. The first lasted three years, the second ten, but it seems that Penny maintained warm ties to both. Alicia has Carrie, who was in a long relationship with musician Paul Simon that included a brief marriage in the middle. Simon’s song Hearts and Bones documents the end of the relationship, but it sure seems like their love never really died. Can’t get enough #trashcandy?
