Pints with Jack is your weekly CS Lewis podcast, where Matt, Andrew and I break down and discuss the works of C.S. Louis.

This season, we're eavesdropping on the correspondence of a senior demon, screw tape,

as he explains how to tempt the patient, a human assigned to his nephew, a demon named Wormwood.

Each week will be considering a different letter, untwisting screw tape's hellish logic,

and forming a battle plan for our own spiritual lives.

However, today is Thursday, and it is therefore an after-hours episode where I interview a guest.

And today's guest is someone I've wanted to bring onto the show pretty much ever since we started

this podcast.

And now that we've begun the screw tape letters, it seemed like the perfect time to interview William O'Flaherty.

Because William, he is the host of Essentials.lois.com.

He has his own podcast, All About Jack.

And he is also the author of both the misquotable C.S. Lewis, and for particular

relevance for this season, he is also author of C.S. Lewis Goes to Hell, which is his analysis

Like I said, I've wanted to get you on the show for ages, and so when we decided that we're going with screw tape, I decided now

is definitely the time. Because I followed your work for a long time. I think your podcast,

All About Jack, was really my main introduction to the CS Lois community, the CSO's scholars,

and it also gave me an idea of the other works of Lewis that I hadn't yet read.
