A Cold Open.

I know.

My favorite part of the show, because I never feel any pressure to be funny or cool.

Not much.

What's up with you?

You know, hanging out.

Cold Open started because back in the day when, you know, we were both living with her parents

and I recorded these on the floor of my sister's childhood bedroom.

We used to literally talk for 25 minutes before we ever got to the episode.

And I would just take something out of that 25 minutes and be like, this works.

But now that, you know, we got full-time jobs and we're paying bills and the pandemic is still

very much going on but is under control enough that we are leaving the house.

Yeah, totally.

Now it's like, be funny immediately.

I know.

It's also like, I think we had stricter rules about podcasting when we first started.

And what I mean by that is every time I would like go to tell you a story, you'd be like,

uh, save it for the mic.

Like we wouldn't talk before we started it all.

So it would be like we are catching up on the podcast.

And I feel like now we, you know, chat more before we don't have that kind of rule anymore.
