Hello and welcome to another episode of the Standard of Truth podcast. I'm Garrett's friend, Professor Richard Leduc. It's missionary call season, which is my favorite time of the year. And one of the things that we like to do on the Standard of Truth podcast is make all of our premium content available for free to missionaries. The way that we do that is that missionaries or their

parents send in their missionary emails and we give them access to a Google Drive that contains

all of both the free as well as the premium episodes. We have many new listeners. And so the premium is a place where we have

several different types of podcasts. We have Joseph Smith and the Restoration. Those are some of the

most popular for missionaries. We have condemned to repeat it, which is primarily history. We've been in the Revolutionary War and the buildup to the founding of America for a while.

We're almost to the end of the Revolutionary War.

We're very exciting to see how that concludes.

And we also have another premium podcast called Crinkling Leaves, where we talk about areas of church history and some of the things

that happened there. Some people mistakenly call it holy places from our past. Anyway, these are all

things that we like to make available for free to missionaries while they're out in the field.

We, Garrett and I often talk about the Truman Madsen tapes on timeless questions, gospel

insights, and the Joseph Smith tapes that we listen to on our missions and how much we appreciated

gaining additional information while we were out serving our missions.

And so that's something that we want to try,

trying to copy Truman Madsen and everything that he does, poorly, obviously. So one of the things that, as this is missionary season, and we want to highlight the fact that these episodes are free

available to any missionary that is currently serving with a missionary email.

That's the way we kind of keep track of it.

So we wanted to replay Joseph Smith in the Restoration episode from last year.

We might actually do one or two during this season as missionaries are prepping to go out on missions.

Last year, we played one, the beginnings of the apostasy.

And we want to replay an episode now called the Aryan controversy.

This talks primarily about the Nicene Creed and kind of the formation of the Trinity as we understand it now there are a few things
