Hey, it's Molly McElier, and you are listening to season 4 of Mother May I Sleep with

Podcast. All right, nacho experts.

So you probably noticed when you opened up your app or whatever you listen to this podcast on this morning

that at the end of the title it says

part one. That's right, we're gonna start splitting episodes into two parts now.

This is something that I really never thought that I would do,

mainly because it never occurred to me

until a couple weeks ago.

Because in my heart, when I started this podcast,

I always wanted it to feel like a lot of the longer form television show recap

podcast that I really love that's the kind of entertainment I really identify

with as someone who likes to nitpick and obsess over things but I'm

realizing you know four seasons into this podcast which is you know a little bit

embarrassing for me as a creator that this is very different than a lot of those shows because this

podcast we do two-hour movies like one hour and twenty-seven minute-long movies and we want to do them for forever.

Whereas opposed to TV, there's maybe 24 episodes a year,

maybe they're an hour long, so that's like 45 minutes running time.

And then you get hiatus.

There's breaks.

There's a whole summer or whatever it is,

you know, whatever the airing schedule is.

There's several months off a year.
