Hey everyone. Today we are going to be making the Christ connection between Genesis 50, 20, and Acts 2, 22 through 24, the passages that we've been studying through this week.

So, Alexa, why don't you unpack this connection for us today?

Yeah, yesterday we talked about how it was God's plan to deliver up Jesus for our salvation. And that connects to what we saw God do through

Joseph. Just as God worked through Joseph's hard circumstances to bring salvation for Joseph's family,

as well as many others, so did God work through Jesus' death and resurrection

to bring about salvation for the lives of all who trust and believe in him.

So in both instances, we see God taking what is bad and bringing something good from it.

And, you know, this seems to be God's ammo.

Even at the very beginning of Scripture, we see that God is always taking bad situations and bringing about good through them. We saw this in Genesis 315, which we studied earlier this year, that the serpent would strike the Messiah's heel, which is a bad thing. But then that through that process, the Messiah would then crush the serpent's head

defeating evil once and for all, which is a very, very good thing. And so, yeah, it's just really

cool to see God work the same way from the beginning of Scripture all the way through until the New

Testament as well. Yeah, I love how Acts 2-22 through 24 is essentially the result of what God promised in Genesis
