Today we're going to talk about the annotation day on 1. Peter 318. That passage says,

For Christ also suffered for sins, once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous that he might

bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the spirit. This is a short verse.

So you may have found the annotation easier or harder because of the length, but there is still a lot to learn in this verse.

Yeah, so much good stuff in this little verse. Alexa, why don't you share with us what you thought of

myself really struck by the prompt that asks us to circle the pronouns in this passage and note

who those pronouns refer to. And what I loved about that prompt is that it shows us how Jesus is

the one who suffered for us and was the one who was put to death. And he is the one who brings us to

So while we do see the spirit making Jesus alive in this verse, this passage really is all about what Jesus has done for us.

And that connects with what the last prompt asks us to do, which is to note words that
