Welcome to a year in the Bible with Daily Grace.

0:03.0

This year, we want to spend a few minutes with you every day walking through our study Christ and all of Scripture.

0:09.0

Each week we will dive deeply into two passages of Scripture, one from the Old Testament and one from the New,

0:15.0

seeing how they connect and point to Jesus.

0:17.0

Whether you are doing the study yourself or just following along with us here, we are hopeful

0:22.0

that through studying these passages each week, you will see how Christ is not only present

0:26.6

throughout the entire biblical story, but the center of it. Hey friends, welcome back to a year in the

0:33.3

Bible. We are wrapping up this year by reflecting on all that we have learned throughout our study.

0:38.7

0:43.3

1:06.4

1:11.4

if Jesus himself was not God, if he wasn't the creator. But he is. He is the God who was present

1:18.8

during creation. He was the God who was orchestrating the life of Abraham and all of Israel.

1:24.6

He is the God who Micah and Isaiah and Ezekiel and all of the other prophets

1:28.6

were speaking about. Jesus is not just a good teacher or a charismatic man. He is the God

1:34.1

of the universe and he holds all things together in his hands. I love that, Beth. I think sometimes

1:40.0

we can just focus on Jesus when we read the New Testament and so we miss out on seeing how Jesus is present in the Old Testament as well, which the study helped us to do so well.

1:49.0

I think when we consider Jesus in both the Old and New Testament, we're reminded like you're saying, that Jesus is God.
