This year, we want to spend a few minutes with you every day walking through our study Christ and all of Scripture.

Whether you are doing the study yourself or just following along with us here, we are

0:21.7

hopeful that through studying these passages each week, you will see how Christ is not only present

0:26.6

throughout the entire biblical story, but the center of it.

Hey, everyone. Welcome back to a year in the Bible. I'm Beth, and I'm here with my co-host, Alexa.

Hi, friends. Throughout this week, we have been

0:38.0

studying Micah 5-2 and Matthew 2 4 through 6. We have seen how Christ came to fulfill this prophecy

0:43.9

It's been hard to keep up with all the things that I feel like I need to be doing, like being an attentive mom, being a good employee, keeping my house clean, exercising regularly, being present with my husband, ministering in my church, supporting my friends, and I just get really bogged down with all of that stuff. And I find myself feeling

1:44.3

that I just can't keep up with it all and that leads me to despair. But Christ has already won.

1:49.5

He is already enthroned and I can place my hope and this truth. So even just reading this question

1:54.2

this morning convicted me that I needed to kind of rethink my priorities and my values and I don't

1:58.7

need to stay on top of everything all the time,
