Hey, everyone. So far this week, we have learned a lot

about Daniel 7, 13, through 14 and Matthew 24, 29, through 31. We have seen how Jesus is the

son of man who will establish God's everlasting kingdom. And today, we will discuss how these things we

learned can be applied to our everyday lives. So Beth, how do you plan to

apply these passages this week? I think my primary takeaway this week is to take heart and have hope

in the midst of earthly turmoil and chaos. I don't know about you, but I find the state of the

world to be really overwhelming and depressing if I don't regularly keep my mind on the promises

of God. Even now, there is turmoil

in so many countries. There are several wars that are either happening or seem like they're about to

happen. There's a great deal of political unrest in our country. And I also personally get brought

down by the culture's idolatry of consumerism and our obsession with success and knowledge and technological

advancement. And then there's also a mental health crisis among young people, and the list just

goes on and on. There's a lot of bad in the world. But when I read Daniel 7, I can imagine these

beasts representing all of those things. But the message of what we have read today is that God is still
