Hey everyone, welcome to a year in the Bible. I'm Alexa, and I'm here with my co-host, Beth.

Hi, friends. So today we're going to be moving

on to the New Testament to begin to see how the Ezekiel passage that we've been looking at over the last

couple days finds its fulfillment in Christ. And so we're going to be looking at and discussing

our annotations for Romans 8, 1 through 4. So Alexa, will you read that passage for us? Yes. Therefore,

there is now no condemnation

for those in Christ Jesus, because the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you

free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do since it was weakened by the

flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by setting his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh as a sin offering

in order that the law's requirement would be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the spirit.

So Beth, how did two annotations go?

It was good. These were some nice and easy prompts, and so I really appreciated that.

And this is also one of my absolute favorite

passages in all of scripture. So I really enjoyed reflecting on it and annotating it. I figure I will
